**3 3/4 inches long, 1 inch wide**

**A fantastic souvenir spoon that starts with the end of the handle where a 3D sculpture of what looks like a winged dragon lunges out at the viewer. The demon's serpent's tail wraps its way around and down the spoon stem to the bowl**

**On the bowl is "The Screamin Delta Demon, Opryland, Nashville, Tenn."**

**The back of the spoon bowl has stripes impressed into the surface**

**Only flaw found was a small rub spot on the middle of the back of the spoon**

**The Screamin Delta Demon was built at Opryland in 1984 and was enjoyed by park visitors until the park was demolished by the Gaylord Broadcasting Company. Gaylord had purchased the park in 1983, then demolished the entire park in 1997. Most of the park's rides were left to rust in a field, a sad and rather unglamorous end to the decades of fun park visitors had enjoyed**

**According to Wikipedia, in 2004, then-current Gaylord Entertainment executives were quoted by "The Tennessean" newspaper admitting that they had found no compelling reason for the closure of the park. Wikipedia further reports that for many years following the park's closure, Gaylord representatives were responding to complaints over the park's closure**
