**The book has re-writes of the Greek myths: the Gorgon's Head, the Golden Touch, the Paradise of Children, the Three Golden Apples, the Miraculous Pitcher, and the Chimaera. Book includes Tangelwood tales**

**Cover is hardback, cloth-covered. Brown with red border on front, has elaborate design with heads of beasts hidden within leaves, vines and flowers**

**5/8 inches thick, 5 inches wide, 7 3/8 inches tall**

**224 pages**

**Cover has wear, discoloration, and chipping along edge. All pages remain firm, but cover has separated from themabout half way up from the bottom. Where the cover has separated and the binding of the pages can be seen where there is printing of leaves and the letters "i a" can be seen, to see more the entire cover would have to be removed**

**Pages have yellowing around edges, spotting, edge wear**

**Included in the back of the book is a short catalog of an interesting selection of books also published by Donohue. Books listed there include "Love Letters: With Directions on How to Write Them", "Complete Hypnotism", "The Complete Palmist", "The Mystic Fortune Teller", and various history books, a book on dancing, books of speeches, and many others**
