What a wonderful dollhouse! Vintage 1970s, the dollhouse and its family have all of the earmarks of that era, from the large stereo speakers, the turntable, television, smoked "glass" tables, Dad's moustache, and soooo much more.
Complete, with inside and outside furniture, a poseable family with Mom, Dad, Big Sis, Brother, and Baby, and fireplace.
Although there is some wear, this set is in fabulous condition, especially for a vintage toy and even more so for a vintage toy with so many pieces!
Each room's furniture is described by the room it was photographed in, for ease of identifying the individual pieces. Brand names are listed with each piece, when the name is available.
Dollhouse
**31 inches long, 13 inches wide, 17 inches tall**
**Has working front door and two skylights. Windows and skylights are plastic and have scratching but are clear**
**Front yard is made of Astro turf, a most modern, 70s approach to lawn care. One end of the house has some white spots on it**
**Has entry area, when entering the front door, dolls must turn right to enter. They will go from the entry room into the living room**
**Top floor (master bedroom and baby room's floor) is bowed from age, just like a real vintage wood floor would be**
**Staircase has railing and 11 steps, including the top one which is part of the top floor**
**Kitchen floor has bubble in "linoleum"**
**Living room has fireplace with chimney. Flocked cream-colored rug has some spotting near fireplace and warping. It would be easy to replace this rug, simple pull out and use as a template to trace and cut a new one if the new owner would like to replace it. Large framed picture is hanging by fireplace and features a matador involved in a bull fight. A popular theme in the 70s but not so favorable now. It is hung with double-sided tape and came with the house. It should not be too difficult to take it down and replace the picture with something cut out of a catalog or a picture that you take yourself to give it a special personal touch!**
**Walls have a few areas where it can be seen pictures once hung, as any used house does**

Please note: This is an imagination toy. Nothing is battery powered or plugs in, all lights are plastic beads that do not light up. All furniture is complete with all drawers and doors. Unless otherwise noted, items are made of plastic. Each piece is rich in details, for instance, the back of the refrigerator shows the lines and wires that would actually be there, the turntable has knobs in front and connectors in the back, stereo speakers have connectors in back, there are many more details on the rest of the furniture and accessories.

**Sink, built-in dishwasher, with cabinets. Butcher block-look top. Three (3) basin sink with faucet that moves. Dishwasher door opens, baskets come out. Cabinet doors and drawers open. A surprise found in the drawers was one (1) plastic glass and two (2) tiny spoons. Be careful when you open drawers that you don't lose those items. Also, don't put glass in anything but the deepest drawer because in a small drawer, it will go in but then it will be very difficult to open the drawer again...don't ask how I know. **Three (3) graduated-sized copper frying pans. Have extensive wear. Made of metal**
**Dad in turtle-neck sweater, long-sleeved blue shirt on top, and tan slacks. Sadly, Dad has been in an accident and suffered an injury to his right foot. He can still stand, but must walk a little gingerly. Probably why he'd like the cat to get out of his chair so he can sit down. Despite all of this, Dad has a kind look and sports a vintage 70s hair style and moustache**
**Stubborn black and white rubber cat. Japan**
Living Room
**Stereo cabinet and turntable (turntable was photographed with TV stand) with two (2) records in sleeves. Records and sleeves have wear and tear but still are very cute with the set. One record is "Dance to Disco" and the other is "Nicolienne Sings Country". Cabinet and record player were from Tomy, Made in Japan**
**Two (2) large floor speakers. One speaker has a lot of scratches on the back. Made in Japan**
**American Indian patterned soft rug with fringe. Japan**
**Two (2) chairs with removeable burnt orange cushions. Can be used as two chairs or push together (as in photo) for sofa. The chairs are like the ones used outside and could be combined with them for outside furniture. Tomy, Made in Japan**
**TV stand with television, two shelves fronted to look like they are full of books, cardboard checker board with tiny tray of plastic checkers (can't be removed from tray). Also has cardboard cutout that is made to look like a selection of child craft items. Cabinet doors open. Television and stand are from Tomy, Made in Japan**
**Coffee table and side table. Both made to look like the very popular smoked glass-topped tables of the time. Coffee table has four "glass" panels and side table has one. In photo, see tiny pretend magazine "Teen Stars" on the coffee table and a tiny red phone on the side table. Old-style dial landline phone is missing handheld part. Just like the tables they were modeled after, the two tables have some scratching on the tops. Japan**

**Burnt orange flocked sectional sofa. Three (3) sections. Corner on one piece has scuff**
**High-backed chair. White with red seat. Textured to look like the woven rattan seats of the time**
**Curved fireplace screen with gold rooster. Includes two log stands to hold the wood in the fireplace. All pieces are made of metal and have some rusting**
**Big Sister is warming her toes by the fireplace. She has a pink short-sleeved shirt and jeans. Her arms and legs are movable and she can bend and twist at the waist. Her jeans are a little discolored but at least they fit and don't have holes!**
**Mom is busy celebrating her weight loss that has resulted in her skirt being a little too big for her around the waist now. Skirt fabric is typical of the 70s with large burnt orange and mustard yellow flowers with white flowers scattered on a brown background. Is wearing a cream-colored tank top. Her sandal tops have some color loss**
