**Paper cardstock bowls were commonly used in Germany for serving a variety of foods during family gatherings or holidays. Usually such bowls were thrown away after the gathering, thus reducing the amount of clean up.**
**There is some edge wear and some discoloration on the bottom from age. Bowl is in remarkably great shape for its age.**
