If you have ever dealt with the frustration of those hand-crank egg beaters that have nylon or plastic gears, you will have a deep appreciation for the vintage beaters that work on metal gears.
Sturdy and a hard worker, it does have some clanking of the beater fins but it does not seem to have any affect on its efficiency. I have yet to see an electric mixer do as good a job with egg whites or whipped cream as one of these handheld, people-powered ones! This wonderful mixer is anxious to join your kitchen!
