**This little elf looks different from the elf from the story "Elf on a Shelf", but he does a great job of watching children for Santa. Unlike a newly produced elf, this one's wear shows he has put in many decades of watching children for Santa. Alone or teaching a new elf the ropes, this elf is a must have for the next holiday season!**

**If you are not familiar with Elf on a Shelf, it is a story about a little elf who watches the children and reports back to Santa. The rule is that no one is allowed to touch the elf or he disappears and returns to Santa with a bad report. After the children go to bed, the elf (with some parental help, of course!) finds a new place to hide. Makes for a delightful distraction during the holiday season as children look for the elf each day! Ours appears right after Thanksgiving, but the kids always start looking for him right after Halloween!**
