**Elf is sitting with hands and arms looped over pulled-up knees**
**Dressed in green felt suit and hat with red trim and mittens**
**Wear, fading, some what looks to be white paint flecks in plastic hair**
**Very happy elf face, brown hair**
**No identifying tags or labels**
**This is the same type of elf from the story "Elf on a Shelf", but unlike a newly produced elf, this one's wear shows he has put in many decades of watching children for Santa. Alone or teaching a new elf the ropes, this elf is a must have for the next holiday season!**
**If you are not familiar with Elf on a Shelf, it is a story about a little elf that watches the children and reports back to Santa. The rule is that no one is allowed to touch the elf or he disappears and returns to Santa with a bad report. After the children go to bed, the elf (with some parental help, of course!) finds a new place to hide. Makes for a delightful distraction during the holiday season as children look for the elf each day! Ours appears right after Thanksgiving, but the kids always start looking for him right after Halloween!**
