At first glance, the creatures look like deer, but closer examination reveals they have very not-deerlike features and look more like gnomes or elves. **Painted in green and brown, note what looks like a mark from the finger or thumb of the decorator on one side (see Photo 4)**
**No chips; no repairs; no crazing; have vertical cracks around rim, possibly caused by the firing process; have some residue from having been used as planters**
